DIY Thursday: Peppermint and Honey Facial Toner

Why Honey?

Honey is also known to increase elasticity, balance out oily skin, stimulate collagen production, improve your circulation and minimize lines and Wrinkles.

Why Apple Cider Vinegar?

Apple Cider Vinegar is best known for its ability to restore skin’s natural pH balance as well as reducing red marks and blemishes. Softens skin as well.

Why Mint?

Peppermint essential oils are known for nourishing and hydrating dull skin while also improving the condition of oily skin. Meaning it’s great for any type of skin, especially combination. It also reduces irritation, so it’s great if you’re still getting break outs.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/3 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup water (cool)
  • 5 drops peppermint essential oil

Directions

Heat a bit of water first (1/3 cup) and then combine it with your honey, stirring until it’s dissolved. The less heat your honey is exposed to the better. After the honey is dissolved, stir the remainder of the water and apple cider vinegar and add your essential oil (or oils) of choice.
